ASML Netherlands: (2017 – 2024)
Program Manager Model Based Definition & Design Automation D&E.
First project was to develop and deploy, world wide for 3500 design engineers, the MBD or 3D PMI way of working. For Design Engineering and the Supply Chain. Next step was to initiate the Design Automation Program, with eleven projects like MBD, Material Data Base, System Simulations, Costs Analysis etc. All focused on design engineering cycle time reduction by efficient 3D processes and enabling the prediction of product performance in an early stage of design.
LAM Research (CA): (2021 – 2023)
MBD program support & Supply Chain rollout
Support to set up the MBD program, the MBD business case and getting first suppliers ready to work with MBD data packages.
Mikrocentrum MBD meet & learn community: (2019 – 2023)
Chairman Program Board
Initiator and organizer of the MBD Solutions Event at Mikrocentrum to support the supply chain in applying 3D Model Based Definition (automation) processes.

Introduction Should costing tools for CE & Designer Costs Estimate D&E.
Developed and deployed the first excel tool, named ‘ESTI’, to help design engineers making costs conscious design decisions.

The department (45 fte) involved machine programming, work preparation, process quality control & certification, manufacturing engineering and inspection.
Philips HTP: (2004 – 2008)
Business Development Manager Plastic optics
HTP developed injection molds for ophthalmic lenses and was the main customer of Polgron. They took over the finishing techniques of Polgron and I helped to start up the finishing department and developed business by creating industrial partnerships and delivering complete production lines worldwide.
Polgron BV: (1991 – 2004)
Company owner and Director. Optics Manufacturing Technology.
The company, with 24 employees, made glass optics and specialized itself in finishing of metal optics and injection molding inserts for plastic optics molding.
We worked for companies like Fokker Aerospace, Fuji magnetics, Kodak, Rafael defense industry and Philips Netherlands.
